Regenerating Tissues Via 3D Printing

I’m still blown away about the use of 3D printing to make rapid prototypes. And I realize that for product prototypes, 3D printing has been around for a while. Man, I can still remember the first SLAs I got many years ago for a catheter hub design. I was able to use the SLAs to construct a few form prototypes to get feedback from physicians. It was a game-changer for me.

Today, I read about how 3D printing technology is being used to advance tissue regeneration. While it’s still early, researchers are using 3D sugar printing to help remodel vasculature. Kind of crazy. And definitely exciting.
