Jon D. Speer, managing partner

Mr. Speer has considerable experience in the medical device industry. Most recently, he founded Creo Quality, LLC to support life science start-ups with product development, project management, and operational needs. Previously, Mr. Speer worked in product development, quality management, and business development capacities for Cook, Inc., Theron, Inc., and Maetrics, LLC—leading and managing multiple projects, taking concepts through development, regulatory submission, and to the market. Additional responsibilities have included: prioritizing corporate product development processes, project prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio management; helping implement FDA-compliant quality system procedures for multiple start-up organizations; and providing business development activities, including lead generation and implementation of customer relationship management systems.

Scott M. Durlacher, managing partner

Mr. Durlacher has extensive executive, managerial, and consulting experience in a wide range of industries. He was most recently president of Eos Research, LLC—a private consulting firm established to address the diverse and ever-changing needs of the technology and investment communities. Eos Research provided organizational assessments, business plan development, due diligence, operational efficiency, market analysis, and strategic planning. Prior to establishing Eos Research, Mr. Durlacher spent 10 years in the medical device and biologics industries in senior roles including general manager of U.S. operations (Tutogen Medical, Inc.), vice president of R&D (Visionary BioMedical, Inc.), and director of regulatory affairs and quality assurance (Arthrex, Inc.).
