Recently, I received a letter from the Head of the Department of Applied Biology and Biomedical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology stating…

“As Head of the department, it is my great pleasure to invite you to serve on this department advisory board. You have been chosen because your experience gives you special insight that will serve our department well and will give us important views from outside of our campus…”

So you may be asking: Why did I want to do this?

I believe it’s critical for a graduating engineer to be ready to contribute almost immediately to his / her industry. And I encourage you to become an active part of your industry.
