Medical Device: VasoNova Develops System to Place PICCs

VasoNova introduces a system using Doppler ultrasound to monitor direction of blood flow and ECG to help position peripherally inserted central venous catheter (PICC) to the optimal location. The VasoNova VPS consists of several components: the VPS Stylet, the VPS Power Injectable PICC catheter and the VPS Console. The stylet includes sensors that interface with the console to provide real-time “go / no go” indications about catheter tip.
