India’s role as an emerging global pharmaceutical and biotech player will also be addressed.
RELEVANCE (WHY?): Health care and the life sciences are large industry sectors that are relatively resistant to economic downturns. Moreover, this industry is rapidly globalizing and India is emerging as a strong player. Furthermore, innovative public-private partnerships have enabled industry to serve previously underserved, disadvantaged populations in India and other developing nations. This is also an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues in the industry. The conference is intentionally planned to coincide with the annual JP Morgan Health Care conference in San Francisco to enable the participation of out-of -state and international attendees. Lastly, in light of the current economic climate, this conference is exceptionally priced to make it widely affordable and hence excellent value for the caliber of speakers and richness of content.
