Operational Leader Attributes:
Finally, your candidate should exhibit personal attributes like receptivity to feedback, flexibility/adaptability, a strong desire for continued growth and development, and acceptable risk-taking.
Strategic Leader Attributes:
Finally, your candidate should exhibit high levels of ambition, inquisitiveness, imagination and innovation, and a high learning orientation.Â
Can a leader be both operational and strategic? Maybe, but in my experience, I’ve worked with quite a few good operational leaders but very few strategic leaders. What type of leader are you?
