The next ASQ Biomedical – Midwest Discussion Group (MWDG) is October 30, 2008. The topic of the discussion will be “How Many Pieces Do I Have to Measure” and will review general statistical concepts, probability, components of risk, and their application to determining sample sizes for calculating the means, comparing populations, etc. Networking and the meal start at 5:30pm. The topic discussion will begin at 6:00pm and last ~8:00pm. The location of the meeting is the Schwitzer Student Center (room 013) at the University of Indianapolis. By the way, campus parking is open after 5:00pm.
