Bloomberg recently published a couple of stories about coronary stents.
On August 14, the story reported that “. . . using heart stents to prop open diseased arteries has little advantage over medicines, exercise and a better diet . . .”
On September 24, another related story reported that drug-eluting stents reduces death rates for heart-attack victims versus bare metal stents.
