I’ve attended a few Venture Club of Indiana meetings. Always a great opportunity for networking with some interesting people. The meetings don’t always relate specifically to life sciences. However, the September 4, 2008 version likely will. Steve Ferguson, chairman of Cook Group (I think that’s his title) will be the keynote speaker. Having previously worked for Cook, I’ve had the chance to listen to Mr. Ferguson speak. While the details of his Venture Club appearance are not currently provided, I suspect he will speak a great deal about the history of Cook and the medical device industry.
