Since my last post. Let’s just say I’ve been busy. So what have I been up to?
- Managing product development efforts for two medical device start-ups.
- One of the start-ups is poised to submit its first 510(k) submission and start a non-significant risk clinical trial. There have been numerous technical and product development issues to deal with during the past few months. But the milestone dates have held tight for a few months now. We are not out of the woods yet, but things look very promising.
- The second start-up just started in late September. We are moving are a quick clip and hope to initiate an IDE clinical trial in Q2 2008. This project has also encountered several technical challenges. We’ve had a chance to conduct some preliminary animal work with functional prototypes. The technology and application are very exciting. I hope to share more soon!
- Growing a “new” business with a new business partner. That’s right, Creo Quality is transitioning to providing strategic services for companies with life science opportunities. We expect to engage our first client in January. Again, I’ll share more soon.
Expect to see a fresh new website very soon to reflect the new business model and approach. Our friends and partner diedrichHARMON have been extremely helpful with these efforts.
