Creo Quality, LLC – 2006 Year in Review

I originally started Creo Quality, LLC late in 2005, hoping to develop risk management software. Not much happened on that front, however. The future of Creo was unclear at the beginning of 2006.

Near the end of May 2006, I found myself laid off and looking for opportunities to join an organization where I could best utilize my skills, abilities, and experience with medical device product development. Fortunately, I was able to utilize my network to land a full-time consulting position. But through my networking, I started to realize that perhaps I could become an entrepreneur and provide services to start-up and other medical device companies in the areas of product development, design control, risk management, and quality systems.

One of these contacts proved essential to Creo Quality, LLC getting off the ground. The contact is the president and founder for a start-up medical device company. He asked if I could help the company with its quality systems needs. After a few months, several emails, phone calls, etc. Creo and the start-up company agreed to terms. I’ve been working with the start-up since October 2006.

2006 has been a good year for Creo Quality, LLC. I’ve been fortunate to meet with several other potential clients and have expanded my network of contacts. Friends and colleagues have been very supportive. I’m excited and optimistic about 2007.
